Amber Shuang

Amber is an emerging tennis coach based in the Seattle area. She competed as a #1 singles player at the NCAA Division III level before transferring to the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where she continued her tennis journey and graduated in 2024. In 2025, she was a finalist at the GTC Tournament, marking a strong step forward in her competitive career.

Before her collegiate career, Amber was a top junior player in China, earning a Beijing No. 1 ranking, finishing top three at national-level tournaments, and earning the National Second-Class Athlete designation.

Since high school, she has been passionate about growing the game of tennis and helping more people enjoy it. She began by volunteering as a coach for players of all levels, and today brings that same mindset into her coaching — focusing on building strong fundamentals, confidence, and a genuine love for the game.
